As defined by the United Nations Development Group, Capacity Development is the process whereby people, organisations, and society as a whole unleash, strengthen, create, adapt, and maintain capacity over time, in order to achieve development results. This can be subdivided into Individual, Organisational, and Communal (Enabling Environment).

The Afro-Dublin Academy is a Capacity Building organisation, that seeks to build local and international capacity by enhancing educational development, skill acquisition, recruitment, and product development.

In contributing to Ireland, we source for students to study in our institutions. This brings in an inflow of funds, and engenders the diversity that such institutions need to grow and achieve their universal goals. The students that come in also help other institutions, where they live, where they buy goods and services, and the people they interact with and influence during their stay in Ireland. They also serve in some cases as a pool for the further injection of labour into the economy, especially as it involves scarce skills.

Our individual contributions involve Educational Consulting services which include Placement, Institution Search, Applications & Admission, Visa Application Guidance,  Payment Facilitation, Guidance & Counselling, English Education, Travel Assistance, and Accommodation arrangement. We know how taxing it can be for new students to come in and settle in Ireland, and our services helps to make this transition seamless and delightful.

As concerns organisational capacity, we provide product development services, where we help organisations of different forms and sizes to market their products in Ireland and globally, as well as promote ideas and concepts. We also provide training and conferencing services. Our online courses for students, workers, and sundry provide a seamless and on-demand way for people to gain knowledge and skills.
